 Tchando's music

These African roots instruments are where Tchando's music comes from.

  • The "kora" (at the left) is an instrument of the Mandinka tribe, based not only in Guinea-Bissau, but all over West Africa. This also counts for
  • the xylophone - or the balaphone, as it is often termed in French speaking areas.
  • The "hoddo" is a Fulani instrument. It originates from northern Nigeria.

These two people - the Mandinka and the Fulani - represent Tchando's musical background.
